About Us

Welcome to the REAL class!

REAL stands for “Relevant Education for Accelerated Learners”.

The REAL Classes host 40 (two classrooms of 20 students) of the highest potential upper elementary students on the east side of the Big Island. Not an hour or two a week pullout; not an extra chapter in the math book. Over 180 days a year, over 6 hours every school day of academic rigor and freedom: Puna’s brightest students challenging themselves and each other to push the limits of their potential.

We are currently recruiting 6th graders for the 2008/09 school year.
